The VPN (Virtual Private Network) is a way to connect your Home PC or a work PC to the inside network here at GFCMSU.

So that you can access resources like '\\flash.gfcmsu.edu\GFCMSU_Shares'

Or Remote desktop to a PC on campus.

-Installing

Choose GFCMSU or Dental Students Choose Dental

 

-Starting and Authenticating

Once Installed, find and launch the Cisco AnyConnect APP.

You will be presented with a similar Dialog as before. 

type-in vpn.gfcmsu.edu

You are connected

Several things.. 

We are trusting your machine and you are trusting the GFCMSU campus.. 

So please close your vpn and remote desktop sessions and files when you walk away from your computer.
