Chromebooks and Microsoft Office

As of 2021, Chromebooks no longer support the Office suite, you can only access them via the Web client.

This is fine for personal use, however for courses (ex: BASIC_MS_OFFICE) there are certain tools/settings that are exclusive to the apps.

As of now, there is no way to run Office on Chromebooks, if a student is having this issue, the best solution is to set them up with a loaner laptop from the Library.
