The following video will demonstrate how to allow exceptions to quiz responses, such as allowing the misspelling of a word.

On the navbar, click Toolbox, and then click Assignments. On the Assignments page, click New Assignment. Enter a Name, Instructions, and add any Attachments. Grade Item - If you already have a gradebook item created for this assignment, select it from the drop-down menu. If you do not, click on the [New Grade Item] link and you will get a popup window that allows you to create the gradebook item and associate it with this assignment.  Click "Save and Close". 

Note: You can filter between different submission statuses, but you must click the magnifying glass icon to resort the list after choosing a submission status.

Classic View Instructions Make sure your quiz questions are in the D2L Question Library, you can check this or add questions to the question library by going to Toolbox > Quizzes > Question Library.  To create a quiz that randomizes the question from a pool of questions, go to Toolbox > Quizzes.  Click "New Quiz". Give the quiz a name and click the Add/Edit Questions button.  Click New > Question Pool.  Give the question pool a title.  Select how many questions to select (this is the number of questions each student should be presented with). Select the number of points per question.  Click "Browse Question Library".  Select the questions or section of questions that should make up this question pool by checking the boxes next to the section or individual questions.  Click Add.  Click Save.  Click Done Editing Questions.  Click Save and Close.
