Faculty - How2 Create a Quiz with a Randomized Set of Questions

- Make sure your quiz questions are in the D2L Question Library, you can check this or add questions to the question library by going to Toolbox > Quizzes > Question Library.
- To create a quiz that randomizes the question from a pool of questions, go to Toolbox > Quizzes.
- Click "New Quiz".
- Give the quiz a name and click the Add/Edit Questions button.
- Click New > Question Pool.
- Give the question pool a title.
- Select how many questions to select (this is the number of questions each student should be presented with).
- Select the number of points per question.
- Click "Browse Question Library".
- Select the questions or section of questions that should make up this question pool by checking the boxes next to the section or individual questions.
- Click Add.
- Click Save.
- Click Done Editing Questions.
- Click Save and Close.
