Faculty - How Do I Copy A Grading Scheme From One Course To Another?
Modified on: Tue, Jul 30 2019 3:40 PMIf you have created a grading scheme in a course and wish to use it in another course that you are not copying over content from a previous course with that grading scheme, it is possible and simple to copy just the grading scheme into the current course following these instructions.
1. From your current course, click on Grades > Schemes > More Actions > Copy.
2. Type the name of your grading scheme (as it appears in the previous course) in the search box and hit enter or click on the magnifying glass. Click the "radio button" to the left of the scheme you wish to copy. Change the name of the grading scheme, if you wish. Click the "Copy" button.
3. At this point the scheme has been copied to the current course but is not set as the default grading scheme for this course. To set it to be the default, click on the small green checkmark in the right-hand column.
4. When you receive the confirmation box, click on "Yes".
5. You should now see your grading scheme with a checkmark in the left column, indicating that it is now the default grading scheme for this course.
