How to Complete Duo Enrollment

  1. You will get an email from “Duo Security” with a subject line of “Duo Security Enrollment”. It will have a link to begin enrollment, please click it.
  2. It will guide you through enrolling once you click Start Setup

  3. Decide which type of device you want to enroll for your 2FA prompt. Mobile phone is what you would select if you are going to download Duo Mobile on your smartphone.

  4. It will ask you for your phone number, enter the information in the box provided.

  5. It will ask you to verify you own the number by either calling or texting you. Select which method you’d prefer and enter the number in the verification box.

  6. Duo will ask which type of device it is, select the one that is relevant for your phone.

  7. Install Duo Mobile on your phone, once you have select I have Duo Mobile installed.
  8. In the app, follow the prompts below to scan the QR code from your screen.

  9. The QR code will look like the screenshot below, which is what you are scanning.
  10. You will get a green checkmark after you have scanned and added the account to Duo Mobile.
  11. It will ask you if you want to modify any setting for your device, which you don’t need to do. Just hit finish enrollment.

  12. You will get the message below once you hit Finish Enrollment.
