It's easy to export any of your courses as a course cartridge that can be imported into Canvas. 

1. Go to your course in Brightspace.
2. Click on Course Admin. 
3. Click on Import/Export/Copy Components.
4. Select "Export as Brightspace Package" and click "Start". 
5. Select "Select All Components" and click "Continue". 
6. Scroll down and select "Include course files in the export package". VERY IMPORTANT
7. Click "Export". 
8. It may take a few minutes for the export to complete. Refresh the page and look at the update alerts icon near the top right corner. Once that shows "Export finished" click on that. 
9. Finally, click on the link that says "Click here to download the export Zip package. 
10. The downloaded zip file should remain zipped. Do not unzip or uncompress it. The filename of the zip file should contain the course code, such as writ_101_180_202470 in the title.
