Passport to Canvas is a self-paced resource that helps you learn how to navigate and use Canvas effectively. It covers everything from submitting assignments and checking grades to managing notifications and communicating with instructors. You can move through the content in any order and focus on the topics most relevant to you. This will be a published course that you are enrolled in to utilize as a training resource throughout your time in Canvas. If you are in a course that uses Respondus Lockdown Browser or Respondus Monitor for quizzes and/or exams, you will need to install it on your Windows PC, Mac computer, or Chromebook before you can take a quiz or exam with it. Navigate to the quiz and click on the quiz title. You will see a window similar to the one below. If you have Lockdown Browser installed, the Lockdown Browser application should open within a few seconds and start the process of getting to the quiz or exam. If you DO NOT have Lockdown Browser installed already, nothing further will happen. Click on the text that says "Latest Version" to be taken to the download page where you can download and install Respondus Lockdown Browser on your computer. Taking a Quiz or Exam with Respondus Lockdown Browser in Canvas (assumes you already have Respondus Lockdown Browser installed) In your normal web browser, login to Canvas. Navigate to the course that has a quiz or exam using Respondus Lockdown Browser. Navigate to the quiz and click on the quiz title. You will see a window similar to the one below.
