I can't view my feedback in Turnitin. Why?
There are a couple of reasons why you may not be able to view your feedback for assignments that use Turnitin. The feedback may not be available yet. Some instructors like to manually submit the assignment feedback instead of having the report automatically release. You may not have an email address set to "preferred" in Banner Web/My Info. You might not be looking in the correct place for the feedback. Please see "How do I view my feedback for assignments that use Turnitin?" Everyone that uses Turnitin has to have a preferred email address chosen in Banner Web/My Info. If you navigate to your Banner Web/My Info on the gfcmsu.edu homepage, you can check your personal information settings to make sure that one of your email addresses is marked as "preferred". It will take overnight for the change to be made in the Turnitin system, and after the change has been made, you should be able to view your feedback in Turnitin. Please contact eLearning if you experience any trouble in this process.

Chromebooks and Microsoft Office
As of 2021, Chromebooks no longer support the Office suite, you can only access them via the Web client. This is fine for personal use, however for courses (ex: BASIC_MS_OFFICE) there are certain tools/settings that are exclusive to the apps. As of now, there is no way to run Office on Chromebooks, if a student is having this issue, the best solution is to set them up with a loaner laptop from the Library.

Student Account Locked Out / Student Account Disabled
Disabled Account If you have students receiving the message below, their account has been disabled. The account must be re-enabled by IT for it to work. The student can contact helpdesk@gfcmsu.edu, 406-771-4440, or they can come up to R263. Locked Out Account If you have students receiving this message below, their account has been locked out due to too many unsuccessful logins on GFCMSU computers or the Student Wireless. The account can be unlocked by visiting https://password.gfcmsu.edu and following the instructions. After resetting the password, wait a minute or two before attempting to log in again. The account can also be unlocked by IT, the student needs to contact IT via helpdesk@gfcmsu.edu, 406-771-4440, or they can come up to R263.
