How do I save a .pages document in Microsoft Word format?
The Assignments tool in D2L Brightspace may accept .pages documents, however, most instructors will not be able to view the document for grading.

If you still need to convert a .pages file to .docx, this article explains how Mac users can easily export their documents created in Apple’s Pages application to Microsoft Word format before submitting the document to Assignments.
- Open the document in Pages.
- Click on “File” > “Export To” > “Word…”.
- Choose a name for the file and a location to save the new Word document. (Note: Pages cannot edit Word documents. So, if changes need to be made to the document after exporting to Word format, they will need to be made in the .pages document and and the document will need to be re-exported as a new Word document.)
