Faculty - Reset Quiz Attempts After this tutorial, you will be able to... Reset quiz attempts. From the course go to Toolbox > Quizzes. Click on the small arrow to the right of the quiz name and click Grade. Click "Show Search Options". Under "Restrict to" select "All Users". Click on the magnifying glass in the search box. Scroll down to the student who has an attempt in progress. (it will show "in progress".) Check the box next to the student's name. Click on the "Reset" icon at the top of the list. it looks like a trash can with the word "Reset" next to it.

Faculty - How2 Make Quizzes Available for Study Purposes By the end of this tutorial, you will be able to... Make a quiz available to students after they have submitted the quiz. Instructors may find it valuable to allow students to review quizzes/tests and answers for studying purposes. You are able to adjust these settings during any part of the course. Some instructors adjust the settings at the beginning of the semester to allow students to continually review the quizzes/tests. 1. Select "Quizzes" from the "Toolbox" dropdown. 2. Select "Edit" from the dropdown next to the quiz you want to edit. 3. Select the "Submission Views" tab. 4. Click "Default View". 5. Change the settings according to your preferences. The question marks are clickable and explain each of the options to choose from. 6. Save. 7. (Optional) Time restrict the viewing period. If you would like to have the viewing period restricted to a certain amount of time, select "Add Additional View" to change.

Faculty - How do I locate a student's incomplete quiz attempt?
Incomplete quiz attempts do not show up in the quiz grade area by default. If you need to locate an incomplete quiz attempt for a student, you can do the following. 1. Go to the Quizzes tool in Brightspace, click on the "More actions" arrow to the right of the quiz name, and click on "Grade". 2. Look for the drop-down menu titled "Restrict to" and select "Users with attempts in progress". 3. Look for the "Search for..." box near the top of the page and click on the magnifying glass icon to the right. 4. In the bottom section of the page, you will see the students who have started a quiz attempt, but have not completed it. You can click on the text that says, "attempt 1" to view their attempt, which also allows you to view the quiz log that shows all of their progress with time stamps. If you need to submit the attempt for grading, you can click on the small icon that looks like two people with an arrow between, as shown below. This button allows you to enter the quiz as the student, for the purposes of submitting their incompleted quiz attempt.
